Historical Background…

This In Season Project is called Pacamara and is the treasure of Guatemala. In the village of Palensia and at an altitude of 1600-1800m we discovered this excellent coffee. The owner of farm Guadalupe Alberto Reyes with hard work has managed not only to offer us a rich tasty and aromatic cup but to reform and develop his land. This variety came from El Salvador and more specifically from the combination of the varieties Pacas and Maragogype.

The characteristic of this variety, is the large size of the coffee fruit. Coffee is harvested by specially trained farmers using the picking method every year, during the months of February – March. Coffee is processed with the SCA quality control standard.

Taste Profile: Dark chocolate, peach, lemon and grapefruit.
